•1914 - Microscope production begins with MK model

•1917 - Company name changes to Matsumoto Seizousho ["Matsumoto Manufacturing Company"]

•1934 - The limited partnership Matsumoto Seizousho was renamed Tiyoda Seizousho ["Tiyoda Manufacturing Company"]

•1942 - Company name changes to "Chiyoda Optical Industry Co., Ltd."

•1944 Dec 7 - Logo first used

•1957 - Company names changes to "Tiyoda Manufacturing Co., Ltd."
