エムカテラ顕微鏡この奇妙な名前の顕微鏡は大正３年に、日本で最初に製造、販売された顕微鏡で、名前の由来は、開発に係わった３人の関係者の名前を、組み合わせたものだそうです。

ただし、写真の製品は、翌年、大正４年の物です。

形は、ライツの顕微鏡と同じなので、そっくりコピーしたのでしょう。

エムカテラ顕微鏡は、その後千代田顕微鏡となり発展していきます。東京顕微鏡院の検定証が付属します
